Disaster risk management is a critical priority for sustainable tourism development, especially in coastal areas like Ambon City that are vulnerable to natural disasters. This study aims to examine the role of cross-sector collaboration in disaster mitigation to enhance the competitiveness of Amahusu Beach and Kota Jawa Beach tourist destinations. Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytic design, data were collected through questionnaires involving various stakeholders. The results indicate that collaboration between the government, private sector, and community is effective, marked by the government's dominant role in policy-making and community capacity building. This study demonstrates that integrated cross-sector roles significantly improve disaster preparedness and tourist attraction. It emphasizes the necessity of synergy in sustainable destination development. It is recommended that collaboration be further optimized by strengthening the private sector’s role and increasing community awareness for more equitable preparedness
