Abstract

Asuransi kesehatan dan akses kredit mikro memiliki peran penting dalam mengurangi dampak guncangan kesehatan terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga di Indonesia. Metode evaluasi dampak Propensity Score Matching (PSM) digunakan untuk mengestimasi dampak guncangan kesehatan terhadap konsumsi rumah tangga di Indonesia dengan data Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS-5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guncangan kesehatan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan konsumsi rumah tangga baik pada konsumsi makanan dan bukan makanan. Asuransi kesehatan membantu melindungi rumah tangga dari beban finansial yang tidak terduga akibat biaya kesehatan yang tinggi, sementara akses kredit mikro memberikan kesempatan bagi rumah tangga untuk memperoleh modal tambahan yang dapat digunakan untuk kebutuhan kesehatan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan.
