Author Guidelines
Journal of Environmental Law, Management, and Governance accepts original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers addressing environmental law, management, governance, sustainable development, and related interdisciplinary issues.
1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original and have not been previously published or submitted to another journal.

Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's Focus and Scope.

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their manuscripts.

All authors must have made significant contributions and approved the final manuscript.

Any conflict of interest must be disclosed.
2. Manuscript Structure
Research articles should generally contain:

Abstract (150–250 words)

The structure may be adjusted for review and conceptual articles according to their nature.
3. References and Citations
Authors must ensure consistency between in-text citations and the reference list. Relevant and recent scholarly sources should be prioritized. The use of reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote is recommended.
4. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, have clear titles, and be referred to in the manuscript. Authors must properly acknowledge or obtain permission for copyrighted materials where required.
5. Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with the journal's Publication Ethics Policy, which follows the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, or other forms of research misconduct.
6. Ethical Approval and Research Permits
Where applicable, authors must obtain appropriate ethical approval, research permits, environmental permits, informed consent, or other required authorizations.
7. Artificial Intelligence
AI-assisted tools may be used for limited purposes such as language improvement, but authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. The use of AI that involves substantial assistance should be disclosed where applicable.
8. Submission and Peer Review
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Manuscripts will undergo editorial screening and peer review before a publication decision is made. Authors must respond appropriately to reviewer comments when revisions are requested.
9. Corrections and Retractions
Authors must cooperate with the journal in correcting significant errors discovered after publication. The journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record, in accordance with applicable COPE guidance.
Authors are encouraged to carefully check the manuscript, references, ethical requirements, and journal scope before submission.
