Hubungan Beban Mental (Mental Load) Ibu dengan Keberhasilan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan bayi, namun keberhasilannya masih dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk kondisi psikologis ibu. Beban mental (mental load) merupakan beban kognitif dan emosional yang muncul karena ibu harus merencanakan, mengingat, mengatur, dan memantau kebutuhan bayi serta keluarga secara terus-menerus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan beban mental ibu dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analitik korelasional menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Massenga pada bulan Maret 2026 dengan jumlah sampel 32 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 16 ibu dengan beban mental ringan, 13 orang (81,3%) berhasil memberikan ASI eksklusif. Sebaliknya, dari 16 ibu dengan beban mental berat, 11 orang (68,7%) tidak berhasil memberikan ASI eksklusif. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p = 0,013. Kesimpulannya, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara beban mental ibu dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif.
