The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the field of educational technology, particularly in the development and utilization of learning media. AI-based learning media enable adaptive, personalized, and interactive learning experiences that respond to the diverse needs of learners. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the forms, patterns of use, and implications of AI-based learning media within the context of educational technology. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, involving teachers and educational practitioners who have utilized AI-based learning media in instructional processes as the research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that AI-based learning media are utilized in the form of educational chatbots, adaptive learning systems, and automated assessment tools. The use of these media contributes positively to increased student engagement, improved instructional efficiency, and support for differentiated learning. However, the study also identified several challenges, including limited teacher technological literacy, ethical issues related to the use of AI, and infrastructural constraints. This study concludes that AI-based learning media have significant potential to support innovation in educational technology, provided that they are accompanied by adequate human resource readiness and supportive policy frameworks.
